LingoTerms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and LingoBoss for use of the website translation service at getlingoboss.com (the "Service"). By creating an account or installing LingoBoss, you agree to them.
1. The Service
LingoBoss automatically translates the content of websites you own or manage, using AI. You can review and edit translations. Machine translation can contain mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing translations where accuracy matters (for example legal, medical or safety content).
2. Your account
You must give accurate information, keep your password safe, and be at least 18 years old or the age of majority where you live. You are responsible for activity under your account.
3. Acceptable use
You may only install LingoBoss on websites you own or are authorized to manage. You must not use the Service to translate unlawful content, to infringe others' rights, to send spam, or to attempt to overload, reverse engineer or get around the Service's limits.
4. Your content
You keep all rights to your website content and its translations. You give us permission to process, store and display that content only as needed to provide the Service.
5. Plans, fair use and payment
Plans and prices are shown on our pricing page. "Unlimited words" is subject to fair use: each plan includes a monthly allowance of newly translated words (for example 500,000 on Starter), which covers almost all websites. If you exceed it, new text may stay untranslated until the next month or until you upgrade. Paid plans renew automatically each month or year until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; you keep access until the end of the paid period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice.
6. Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. If LingoBoss is unavailable, your website keeps showing its original language.
7. Termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms or harm the Service, with notice where reasonable.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, LingoBoss is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For significant changes we will notify customers by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
